About Dara

I am 42 years old and live in West Palm Beach, Florida with my husband, daughter and 2 crazy Jack Russell terriers! I am originally from Buffalo, NY but have been in Florida for about 9 years.

I earned my Bachelors Degree in Registered Nursing at Hartwick College, Oneonta, NY in 1988 and found my specialty in Orthopedics. I have always had a fascination with health and the human body and a passion for exercise. Over the past 6 years I have broadened my scope of practice to include the field of fitness. I am a Certified Cycle Instructor with Schwinn and a Certified Pilates Instuctor with PIA(Pilates Institute of America).

I am Certified in Wellness Coaching with Wellcoaches Corporation, who are also affiliated with ACSM(American College of Sports Medicine).

In addition, I write a monthly Health and Wellness column for the Service First newsletter for Amcomp Preferred.
