Be realistic! Schedule your workouts around your schedule and give yourself alternate days in case you can't make a day.

Find a workout partner. It is easier to get motivated when you have a friend or family member to cheer you on!

Choose activities that you enjoy as part of your workout. If you like to golf or play tennis, incorporate that as part of your exercise routine. This way, it won't feel like work and you will still reap the rewards of being active!

Make food accessible. It is easier to eat healthy when you have choices ready and waiting for you when you get hungry. Buy bite sized packages of healthy snacks, pre-cut veggies or fruit.

Make a week's worth of healthy lunches on Sunday nite — and freeze them if you need to. Then they are ready to grab and go anytime!

Don't be so hard on yourself. If you fall back on a personal goal — pick yourself back up and find the silver lining! What you can learn from a setback is much more important than the setback itself.

Remember — it is only a mistake if you didn't take advantage of the learning opportunity to be gained from the mistake!
