Blessings to you this day. I took this photo at my kitchen table as I headed out the door to work this morning. The roses reminded me of the lush abundance of holy things made known through the ordinary. The tablecloth woven by seasoned hands in the Guatemalan hills above Antigua bring to mind the sacredness of worthy work. The text opens to a nourishing word that feeds the hungry heart. What do you hear when you are tired, or lonely and in need of care? Where do you look for rest when the day is long and the road seems difficult?

As I think of you on your healthy path, I hold you in thought that the choices you make today provide you with rich care and deep peace. May your best hope for life and your heart’s deepest desire already reach fulfillment in the imagination of your heart.
